Privacy policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026.

This policy describes the intended configuration of Yandex to Google, a private rclone utility that copies files from Yandex Disk into Google Drive.

Data accessed and purpose

The utility accesses files, folder structure, names, sizes, timestamps, and checksums needed to transfer and compare files. Google OAuth credentials authorize the destination account. Access is used only to perform transfers requested by the operator.

Storage and recipients

Files are read from Yandex Disk and uploaded to the authorized Google Drive account through the operator-managed machine. OAuth tokens and client credentials are stored in the rclone configuration on that machine. Transfer logs may contain file paths, timestamps, transfer statistics, and errors. Access to that machine and its configuration must be restricted to authorized operators.

Data is not sold or used for advertising. Google user data is not used to train AI models. Data is processed by Yandex, Google, and the infrastructure providers used by the operator as required to deliver the transfer. This information website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses under its own privacy policy. The website contains no analytics scripts, account login, or file upload form.

Retention and deletion

Destination copies remain in Google Drive until deleted by the account owner. Source files remain in Yandex Disk. OAuth credentials remain on the operator-managed machine until removed or replaced; logs remain until the operator deletes them. Revoking access does not delete files already copied.

Revoke access

Google access can be revoked at Google Account connections. Yandex access can be revoked in the account's application permissions. To remove local credentials or logs, contact the operator using the email below.

Limited use

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
